2020 is the comeback year for the Swiss legend, who returns after 26 years of silence with a new EP ("Fatal Grotesque Symbols - Darken Universe") and a new album. The EP released in August includes a simple, carefree new track and two new recordings of old classics (´Space Invaders´ from the debut album "Hymn To Abramelin" and ´Extreme Cold Weather´ from the album of the same name), which in contemporary production and with Andy Kaina's vocals nothing lose charm. And the album also knows how to please. Not only did they manage to keep the classic line-up of "Rotten Perish" and "Choir Of Horrors", they even transported the spirit of the middle phase perfectly into the new millennium. So there is again the perfect mix of death and thrash metal, enriched by weird solos and dark riffing. The massive, but thoroughly authentic production also fits into the positive basic image, and that is probably the best-produced recording in the band's history. Both old and new fans will be delighted.
