Québec-based funeral doom band ATRAMENTUS 'debut album entitled Stygian is slated to be released over 20 Buck Spin this August. The band has existed since winter 2012 and 20 Buck Spin has been interested for a long time, but now the songwriting has only just blossomed into full bloom and the album contains 3 songs with a playing time of more than 40 minutes, with each Black-Dark Epic- Funeral Doom Metal fan's ears will glow. The album was recorded, reworked and mixed by Xavier Berthiaume in Studio Tehom in Montreal, mastered by Greg Chandler [ESOTERIC, LYCHGATE] in Priory Recording Studios in Birmingham and artistically designed with cover artwork by Mariusz Lewandowski [ATLANTEAN KODEX, BELL WITCH, MIZMOR] .
