In addition, Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Pretty Maids) was given the responsible task of re-mastering this unique album, which he did extremely well: he made the songs sound much more modern and fresh. With "Assembly", the Norwegian Gothic Metal pioneers have clearly moved away from their roots and instead have largely oriented themselves towards popular rock music.
