As one of the most popular groups in today's So Cal soul scene, Thee Sinseers hardly need an introduction. Their performance of "Seems Like" live at the Recordium was known to over a million viewers and made them a sought-after group for So Cal soul parties on the coast. When asked which song they wanted to record for their Penrose session, Joey Quiñones, singer, songwriter and man who knows how to play an instrument, didn't hesitate to reply, "We need a decent recording of this song". And so it was done. In the candle-lit studio, the band gave us an extremely intimate rendition that was downplayed to the core and the melodious admonitions of Joe Q. were revealed.
