The band is now a duo consisting of the founding members Alisa Xayalith and Thom Powers, and with their new LP they are regaining their place as the most exciting pioneers of a current indie sound. Musically they have perfected the dreamy, catchy synth pop, but when it comes to their familiar and intimate storytelling, the two remain true to each other.
