Start of the reissue series of the three Ohio Players albums for the Westbound label. 'Pain' was also the start with Joel Brodsky's iconic cover artwork. Despite moderate chart entry (# 21), it was in the US charts for at least six months. One hit was missing, but it was to follow on the successor 'Pleasure' ('Funky Worm'), which should also appear on Westbound a year later. Black vinyl and gatefold sleeve!
