IDMクラシックは、10曲すべてがヴァイナルで再リリースされるのは初めてです。 Metamaticsの「Midnight Sun Pig」は、2000年にスウェーデンのカルトレーベルDotで、2003年にHydrogen Dukeboxで「Mind Mushing Git」としてリリースされましたが、どちらのLPフォーマットにも7曲または8曲しか含まれていませんでした。ピンクのダブルヴァイナルに、初めての完全版が登場。メタマティクス（別名Norken、Nacht Plank、Autumn Of Communion）はAphex Twinとよく比較され、彼のファンにはColin Greenwood（Radiohead）、Laurent Garnier、John Foxxが含まれます。
