Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Bandana

Back in stock! Madlib, the prolific producer and adept sampler with a record collection spanning all genres and eras and Freddie Gibbs, the gravel-voiced braggadocios rapper, a vocal athlete. As a pair, they exude a natural chemistry and craft an alchemical music. Reunited after their widely celebrated 2014 album Piñata, Gibbs and Madlib are back with Bandana, a brand new collaboration for 2019. Bandana includes first single, “Flat Tummy Tea,” which received critical praise upon release from the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, Vulture, Pitchfork, FADER, GQ, and more. The album will also include features from Pusha T, Killer Mike, Yasiin Bey, and Black Thought and more.

Endangered Species – Intangible

Limited edition of 300 copies on white vinyl of the third release on "90's Tapes". Endangered Species' “Intangible” was an underground classic released in 1999 on cassette in a very limited run, when word got out this music somehow spread from Calgary throughout Canada to Chicago, Australia, Europe & beyond. The producer / MC combo of Nohow & Infinite P produced the record on the ASR-10 in their dusty home studio using records & a Roland digital 8 track. The only guest appearances were from Agape (Isosceles) & DJ Vinroc (5th Platoon / Triple Threat DJ’s) a song they recorded on tour. 21 years later this record finally gets it’s proper reissue treatment on vinyl, cassette and digitally.

ILL Will - Vintage Low Fidelity (Gatefold / 2LP)

The Hamburg producer ILL Will was active at the time of the first big German rap hype around the turn of the millennium and provided beats for the country's most successful rappers at the time, including Fettes Brot, Deichkind, Curse and Eins Zwo. However, since only very selected songs saw the light of day, many remained hidden forever. Now ILL Will has dug deep into his archive and is dropping some unreleased beats and instrumental demo versions of well-known classics of the time, more precisely from the years 1995 - 2001. Based on the currently very popular Lo-Fi sound, he has the album " Called Vintage Low Fidelity ”. The instrumentals fit perfectly into this vital scene, have not aged a bit and present the timelessness of the acts of that time. As a special highlight there is an unpublished remix of the MC Rene classic "The New Rhyme Generation" from 1995. Vinyl on 350g cardboard, Gatefold Cover 2LP with a total of 52 tracks.
