At the same time as the start of the new James Bond film, the British indie band The Wedding Present is initiating the sampler "Not From Where I'm Standing" with cover versions of famous Bond themes, recorded by friendly bands like Sleeper, Jetstream Pony, The Donalds, The Sleazoids or The Ukrainians. The latter probably deliver the first Madonna cover in Ukrainian with "Die Another Day". All proceeds from this sampler, which is published in cooperation with the 7 "club" Come Play With Me CIC (CPWM) ", will go to the British suicide prevention organization" Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) ".
