Tony Visconti (Bowie, T.Rex) was hired as a producer for the album. 'Ghostown' was released in 1978 and musically the band moved more towards New Wave and Mainstream with this second album after 'TV Tube Heart'. The album is considered by critics to be one of the definitive Irish albums alongside Van Morrison's 'Astral Weeks'. 50s and 60s references meet Irish history which is processed in the texts. Similar to what Radiators singer Philip Chevron did later with the Pogues. Limited 40th Anniversary Edition as a double LP with a total of 10 bonus tracks! 180 gr., Clear vinyl and printed inner sleeves!
