Hüsker Dü, founded in 1978, started out as a hardcore punk band, but over time developed a sound that became one of the main influences for later alternative rock. The band's main songwriters were equally equal to Bob Mold and Grant Hart. In January 1988, Hüsker Dü dissolved due to differences. In 1992 Bob Mold founded the band Sugar with Malcolm Travis and David Barbe, which was successfully established in the alternative rock scene. The album 'Copper Blue' was named "Album of the Year" by the New Musical Express. Sugar disbanded in 1995. After that, Bob Mold started to release solo albums. A self-titled album came out in 1996 and 'The Last Dog and Pony Show' in 1998. This was followed by 'Silver Age', which gave Mold a successful comeback in alternative rock a few years ago. A total of eight albums from the Bob Mold and Sugar catalog are now worth 180 gr. Releases republished. They come with printed inner sleeves and with the exception of 'Silver Age' (Silver Vinyl) in Clear Vinyl. The Sugar double LPs 'The Joke Is Always On Us, Sometimes' and 'Besides' are among them.
