On their sixth album, US indie band STRFKR changes from high-gloss electro-pop productions to powerful indie-pop songs that are reduced, spacey, profound and dreamy. The two new collaborators, the Amsterdam musicians Mathias Janmat and David Hoogerheide, certainly contributed to this. STRFKR's music now surrounds a strange and beautiful sound environment as they have shown themselves mature enough to take advantage of the chance and spontaneity from which the new songs emerged.
