Excellent exhibition of the Bossa Nova phase by Stan Getz, one of the greatest saxophonists in jazz. While he became a figurehead of cool jazz with compositions such as "Early Autumn" (1948) and "Long Island Sound" (1949), he was inspired by Bossa Nova in the early 1960s and took up the spirit and rhythm of this new worldly music and created his own, very elegant imprint, which should have a significant influence on further generations of musicians.
