Recorded at the band's studio in Los Feliz, California, bandleader Mark Oliver Everett aka E also played the role of producer on Earth to Dora. The new album was recorded by E himself, Koool G Murder, The Chet and P-Boo. With the exception of 'Are We Alright Again' - "kind of a quarantine daydream I desperately needed to have" as E himself says - all songs were written before COVID-19. Before the pandemic changed all of our lives. 'Earth to Dora' is the 13th full-length album by EELS after 'The Deconstruction' in 2018.
