There's the early Acid House Holmes. His last solo album "The Holy Pictures" (2008) breathed La Düsseldorf, The Jesus & Mary Chain and Brian Eno. He produced Primal Scream and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. And he wrote (and writes) countless Hollywood soundtracks, especially for Steven Soderbergh's "Ocean's" trilogy (with George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt). Now David Holmes presents his "Late Night Tales" version, consisting of many little head movies, in which we meet David Crosby, Buddy Holly and the Children Of Sunshine. There is also plenty of exclusive Holmes own material, collabos with BP Fallon and Jon Hopkins, as well as the 10cc cover "I'm Not In Love" by Song Sung that he produced. There are a total of 9 exclusives, including the spoken word performance of Stephen Rea, who reads from Seamus Heaney's "Aeneid Book VI - Elsewhere Anchises". Both sound carriers are again available in top equipment: CD as an exclusive mix set, including bonus download code with all played tracks in wav / mp3 formats, including a multi-page booklet with personal liner notes for each track, in a cardboard slipcase. 2LP as a limited 180g pressing with all 19 played tracks, audiophile mastered at half speed, including bonus download code with all tracks (once completely played, once as a mixset) in wav / mp3 formats, in a gatefold with antistatic inside pockets plus art print in 12 "size.
