Reissue of the Charlie Chaplin soundtrack for his cult film "Modern Times" (1936), one of his most important films. The film music he composed (first vinyl release in 1959) was as complex as it was innovative and could only be recorded with an orchestra of 64 people. The "Modern Times OST" contains the title "Smile (Love Theme)", which became standard as a sung song from 1954, interpreted by Judy Garland, Nat King Cole and Michael Jackson, among others.
